Karan Mehra is an Indian television actor and fashion designer. He was born on 10 September 1982, in Jalandhar, Punjab, India. He is best known for playing the role of Naitik Singhania in Star Plus’s TV serial Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (2009-2016). Some of the TV serials in which he has worked as an actor include “Saath Nibhaana Saathiya” (2016), “Khatmal E Ishq” (2017), “Ek Bhram…Sarvagun Sampanna” (2019), and “Shubharambh” (2023). He made his acting debut in Bollywood with the film Love Story 2050. He participated in Star Plus’s dance reality show Nach Baliye 5 with his wife in the year 2012. They were also a part of “Nach Baliye Shriman v/s Shrimati” (2013). In 2016, he participated in Colors TV’s show Bigg Boss 10 as a contestant. He also worked with Raj Kumar Hirani and Ram Gopal Verma as an assistant director in 4 movies. He is one of the highest paid actors in Hindi television industry.

In June 2023, Karan was accused of domestic violence and extra marital affair by his wife Nisha. He was also arrested in this case but later he was released on bail. He accused Nisha of taking their children away from him and demanding a huge alimony amount.
