MHT CET: If you are willing to get admission into B.E, B.Tech, B.Sc, B.F.Sc, B.Pharm, Pharm.D, and B.Plan courses in Maharashtra state then you should appear in Maharashtra Common Entrance Test.  It is a state level entrance exam conducted in CBT mode. Candidates find questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics in the exam. If you are all set to appear in the exam then you can apply from February onwards. However, do not forget ensuring your eligibility before you apply for the exam.

MHT CET Eligibility Criteria

Please go through the minimum eligibility requirement for taking MHT CET exam:

Indian citizens are eligible to apply.

Candidates having birth certificate, domicile certificate and school leaving certificate of Maharashtra can apply. Other state candidates are also eligible.

Candidates who have cleared class 12th exam with 50% marks (45% in case of reserved) can apply. Appearing candidates can also apply for the exam.

MHT CET Application Form

Please note that you can get MHT CET application form in online mode only. The online application involves a number of steps including online registration, application form fill up, upload scanned copy of images and make payment of fee. You should provide only genuine information in the application form.

Instructions for Uploading Photograph & Signature

  • The size of photograph should be in between 15KB to 50KB.
  • The size of signature should be in between 5Kb to 20KB.
  • Both the images should be in JPG format.
  • You should upload your recent photograph and the same needs to be brought at the exam centre.

Application Fee

  • General candidates of Maharashtra, OMS and J & K migrant candidates: Rs. 800
  • ST, SC, VJ/DT- NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), SBC, OBC, SEBC, PWD and EWS: Rs. 600

The payment against application fee can be made using debit card, credit card, net banking, e-challan and wallets.

Exam Pattern

MHT CET is a Computer-Based test.

The exam will comprises of multiple choice questions. Each paper consists of 50 questions of 100 marks. Candidates would be provided 90 minutes in order to solve the question paper.

The exam doesn’t include any negative marking scheme.
