Onion Paratha Recipe / Tasty Onion Paratha / Pyaaz Ka Paratha Recipe

Onion Paratha Recipe is a delicious, crispy, tasty and easy to make. Onion paratha is a made of mixing the finely chopped onion along with green chilies and spices in to the wheat flour while making the dough for parathas. You can serve with curd or pickle.

Ingredients:

For Dough:— –

  • Wheat Flour (Atta) – 3 cup
  • Water as needed –

For Stuffing: —- –

  • Finely Chopped Onion – 1-2 big size
  • Finely Chopped Coriander leaves – 2-3 tbsp
  • Chopped Green Chilies – 1-2 tbsp
  • Dry Mango Powder – 1 tbsp
  • Coriander Powder – 2 tbsp
  • Garam Masala – 2 tbsp
  • Cumin Seed – 1 tbsp
  • Salt as per taste –
  • Butter / Oil for frying –

Instructions:

  • Make dough of wheat flour as we are preparing for paratha/roti.
  • For stuffing:– In a big bowl, add onion, coriander leaves, green chilies, dry mango powder, coriander powder, garam masala, cumin seed and salt, mix well.
  • Make two medium size chapati, add the filling to the one chapati and cover it with the second one.
  • Cook on a pre-heated Tawa. Turn it and pour half tablespoon oil.
  • Spread it on the paratha and shallow fry over low heat.
  • Turn it and again pour oil on the other side.
  • Cook it till turns little golden brown.
  • Serve hot onion paratha with yogurt, chutney and pickle.
