Where is spain?

The Spanish peninsula is an islands country in Europe. The capital Madrid is the home to the royal palace and the Prado museum, which houses works by European masters. The size of the countries and territories in Spain are vastly different.

The land area of Spain is 505,990 square kilometers. It is the largest country in Southern Europe. It is also the second largest in Western Europe and the fourth largest in Europe. The mainland of Spain extends 674 miles to the east and 950 miles to the west, making it considerably larger than its neighbor. Despite being a huge country, Spain has relatively small land area.
