1. Raspberries are well known for their bright red colour and delicious flavour, however, the leaves from the plant are also very healthy.

2. These leaves contain healthy minerals including calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus and potassium.

4. In order to get health benefits from raspberry leaves, you can make raspberry leaf tea. You can do this by harvesting leaves directly from the plant. They taste best during the flowering season but can be used all year round. Simply slice these thinly using a sharp knife and use 3 teaspoons per cup of boiling water. Allow this to infuse for at least 3 minutes, and strain to remove the leaves.

5. This raspberry tea will help to treat those who are suffering from mouth ulcers and bleedings gums.

6. This is also used by women to increase fertility and can be combined with peppermint for a delicious flavour.

7. Sometimes the tea may be bitter, so I recommend adding honey and other healthy fruits to balance this out.
