Aditi Munshi completed her schooling from Kolkata. During high school days, she exposed to Kirtans written by poet Gobindo Das. She already familiarized with Rabindrasangeet and Nazrulgeeti.
She received a scholarship to pursue her career in music from Rabindra Bharti University. She also received a scholarship from West Bengal Government to pursue “Padaboli Kirtan” at the post-graduation level.
Aditi Munshi received singing lessons from Shree Snehasis Chatterjee and later from Shree Subrakanti Chatterjee.
She learned Nazrulgeeti from Shree Shankar Ghoshal and sought the expertise of Srimati Kankona Mitra, Vidushi Saraswati Das and Shree Timir Baran Ghosh for Kirtan and old Bangla songs respectively.
Later in 2015, she participated in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa which is a popular singing reality show in West Bengal brought her in the limelight. And thereafter she never had to look back.
