Career
Mouni Roy left her graduation in midway and moved to Mumbai to pursue her dream of being an actress. she got chance to make her first acting debut in 2006 with a popular Indian Television show named Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. In this show she played the role of Krishna Tulsi Eklavya Virani.
Later she worked in many Television series such as Kasturi in the role of Shivani Sabbarwal, Do Saheliyaan in the role of Roop, All 3 seasons of Naagin in the role of Shivanya Ritik Singh and many more. In 2013, She starred as Meera in Junoon – Aisi Nafrat Toh Kaisa Ishq alongside popular actor Aditya Redij.
She made her first film debut with a Punjabi movie named Hero Hitler in Love. She made her first Bollywood debut with movie named Gold directed by Reema Kagti in the role of Monobina Das. Akshay Kumar also starred in this movie. Because of her excellent performance she got role in many movies such as Tum Bin II, K.G.F: Chapter 1, Romeo Akbar Walter etc.
She participated in few reality shows including Zara Nachke Dikha, Pati Patni Aur Woh, Kaho Na Yaar Hai, season 6 of Nach Baliye, season 7 of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, Lip Sing Battle, Comedy Nights Live, Comedy Nights Bachao. She has does guest appearance in many seasons of shows like Bigg Boss, Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi, Swaragini – Jodein Rishton Ke Sur etc. In 2016, She has hosted show dance reality show named So You Think You Can Dance.
