Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula impose weekend lockdown to stop the surge of Covid Cases. Tricity Comes at a Standstill for two days. After Roaming around, I Failed to Find even any Grocery Shops open in Mohali, Zirakpur and Derabassi. Most People Don’t know Whether Grocery and Essential shops will be Open in Weekend Lockdowns or Not.
As per the order of Chandigarh, Shops dealing with the supply of essential goods like milk, vegetables etc shall be allowed to remain open for home delivery up to 2 pm. But there was no Clarity in Mohali order, So There was no planning by Shopkeepers even.
After a day of 1 May Lockdown, I can Say the below list was operational during the Day. ( Report by Mukesh kapoor )
*All vaccination centres/testing centres/dispensaries and medical facilities.
*ATMs, hospitals, veterinary hospitals and all related medical establishments, besides dispensaries, chemist shops, pharmacies, ambulance services were functional.
*Hotels including food joints/courts were open for home delivery, Even I saw a lot of Zomato and Swiggy guys during the Day.
