Mohomaya, a Bengali language series directed by Kamaleswar Mukherjee, was released on the OTT platform Hoichoi in March.

Mohomaya 2 story : The entire series is based on the story line of a little boy named Rishi, who spent his whole childhood witnessing his father torturing his mother Maya, and these incidents had a massive impact on him. Later, after his father abandoned his family and moved out, her mother decided to commit suicide, but her impoverished son Rishi, a school-going child, does not want to lose her. He tied her up to prevent her
from committing suicide. Maya was shocked when she observed his school-age son’s unusual behavior.
Maya breaks the shackles and kills herself since destiny is not in her hands.

The series then focuses on Aruna, the wife of a caring husband and mother of three children. Her elder son soon leaves for Canada for his job, and his childhood friend Rishi moves in as a paid guest.
Aruna didn’t pay much attention to him at first, but after witnessing his courteous behavior, she began to treat him as if he was a part of his family. Rishi also treats her like his mother. Everything going on smoothly but here the twist, Rishi,s dreadful past started overpowering him, he feels like protecting Aruna just like he tried to protect her Maya.

The family, unaware of his past and mental problem, witnesses unusual occurrences in their home, such as the inexplicable death of a cat, also Aruna’s daughter got injured by falling from stairs. Watch the full series on Hoikoi to know the whole story.
