Shyam Mashalkar is an Indian television and film Actor. He was born on 5 April, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He is best known for playing the role of Illesh Bhardwaj in Star Plus’s TV serial Sasural Genda Phool. He started his acting career in 2007 with the horror film Ghat: The Hill Station as Jeetu. In 2010, he made his Marathi film debut with the film Lalbaug Parel: Zali Mumbai Sonyachi. He worked for numerous nationally and internationally television commercial advertisements like Qwik, D’cold Total, News 369, Mint, Mentos Mint, Intex Tel, Reliance Mobile Phones, 7UP Lemon Bite, etc. In 2019, he appeared as Darbari in the action comedy-drama film Housefull 4.
