The All India Entrance Examination for Design (AIEED) will be conducted by ARCH College of Design & Business to select candidates for enrolment in undergraduate and postgraduate courses in design. Selection process will comprise of General Aptitude Test (GAT), Creative Aptitude Test (CAT) and Personal Interaction. Candidates interested for admissions can fill and submit their application form in online as well as offline mode. The application form has been released online. Major Highlights of AIEED 2023

• Candidates submitting the application fee via DD need to enclose a printout of filled application form, 2 photographs and copies of 10^th and 12^th mark sheets.
• Those submitting the application fee through Bank of India need to submit scanned copies of receipt and personal details (name, course, phone number) on admission@archedu.org for reference.
• Both GAT and CAT will be conducted in three different slots, the choice for which can be provided by the candidates during filling the application.
• A maximum gap of 3 days will be allowed between GAT and CAT.

Syllabus

The overview of the AIEED 2023 syllabus is provided below:

• General Aptitude Test (GAT): Questions will be asked to test Design sensibilities, Logical Reasoning, design related awareness, awareness on global issues, & Concepts Comprehension.
• Creative Aptitude Test (CAT): Questions will be asked to test Articulation Skills both written & visual, Design Thinking, Lateral Thinking & creative problem solving, & awareness of Design Principles.
• Video, Portfolio and Personal Interaction: Composure, Focus & clarity, General articulation skills, depth of thinking, range of work in portfolio will be assessed.

AIEED Application Form 2023

The application form for AIEED 2023 will be released in online mode. The candidates can obtain the online application form by visiting the official website. Applicants can also purchase the form from ARCH campus Jaipur and submit it in person by visiting the campus itself.

• To fill the application form, the candidates will have to provide their personal and qualification details.
• Soft copies of candidates’ color photograph and marks sheets of class 10^th and 12^th also need to be uploaded in the application form.
• Slot for appearing in GAT and CAT will also be provided at the time of filling the application form.
• Once all the details are filled carefully, the candidates can submit their application form with the required application fee.
• After successful submission, a confirmation will be sent to the candidates on their registered email id and phone number.
• The candidates should take a printout of the application form and keep it safe for future reference.

Application fee:

Application fee for appearing in the AIEED 2023 will be Rs. 3000/-. Payment of application fee can be done in either of the following ways:

Online gateway: You can simply submit the application fee via debit card/ credit card.

Demand Draft: A demand draft drawn in favor of “ARCH Educational Society” payable at Jaipur and sent to ARCH College of Design & Business, Plot No 9, Govind Marg, Malviya Nagar, Jaipur 302017. Do not forget to mention your name and phone number on the back of the DD.

Payment in Bank of India branch: Candidates can make payment of application fee in Bank of India through online transfer. Details for the same are given as:

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria to appear for AIEED 2023 are given below:

Undergraduate course:

• A pass in class 12^th from a recognized board is required in order to be eligible.
• Candidates in their class 11^th can also appear for AIEED 2023 and can be eligible for direct admission in the academic year 2023 after clearing the 3^rd (last) stage of the exam.
• PTE Exam (Academics) to be cleared within 1 year of course commencement is required for progression to UK University.
• The minimum marks obtained in the qualifying exam should be 48%.

Postgraduate course:

• Graduate in any stream from a recognized Indian or international university with pass in all subjects in all years is required.

Note: Appearing candidates are eligible too.

Result

• After successful completion of the test and personal interaction, overall performance of the candidates will be accessed.
• Based on the performance, the results will be declared in online mode as per the notified schedule.
• Candidates will be able to check the result by visiting the official website www.aieed.com.
• To see the result, the applicants will be asked to provide their control number and password generated at the time of admission.

Selection Process

• Selection of the candidates will be done strictly on the basis of merit.
• Performance in the test and interview along with the past academic performance of the candidates will be considered for selection.
• Documents and eligibility conditions of the candidates will also be verified.
• Finally selected candidates will then have to deposit the admission fee to confirm their enrolment.
• Students whose 12^th or Graduation results are not declared till admission will have to submit a non-judicial stamp of Rs 50/- stating that the admission is provisional subject to passing the qualifying exam.
• Selected candidates will also have to submit a Letter of Recommendation from any of the following: Practitioner Doctor, Gazetted Officer, Chartered Accountant/ Company Secretary, Professor, Designer with a firm or design related industries.
