To select the candidates for admissions into the BE and B.Tech courses, the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board will conduct CG PET 2023. Interested candidates, who fulfill the eligibility criteria as well, will be able to submit their application form in online mode hopefully from the month of March 2023. Important Highlights of CG PET 2023

• Other than online, no mode of filling and submitting the application form will be provided by CG Vyapam.
• Only the candidates who submit their applications in time will be able to download their admit card.
• In case the photograph in the admit card does not appear clearly, the candidates must carry two colored passport sized photograph to the exam center.
• Candidates must preserve their admit card even after exam as it might be required at the time of counseling and admission.
• Grievance regarding the answer key must be submitted along with a valid proof or else it will be discarded.

Exam Pattern

The basic overview of CG PET 2023 exam pattern is given below:

• Marking scheme: 1 mark will be awarded for each right answer
• Negative marking: Not applicable

CG PET Application Form 2023

The application form for CG PET 2023 will be released in online mode. Candidates will be able to fill and submit their application form by visiting the official website of CG Vyapam www.cgvyapam.choice.gov.in.

• In the application form, the candidates will be asked to provide basic information such as name, date of birth, category, domicile, qualifying exam details, etc.
• Scanned copies of candidates’ photograph, signature and thumb signature will also be uploaded in the application in the given format.
• After providing all the details into the application form, the candidates must check it carefully.
• Once the details are filled and cross-checked, the application form can be submitted along with the prescribed fee.
• Candidates are advised to keep a printout of the duly submitted application along with case in case of future reference.

Payment of application fee can be done using debit card/ credit card or net banking facility.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for CG PET 2023 are mentioned below:

Age limit:

• The maximum age of the candidates must not exceed 30 years (33 years for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD/ Female candidates of Chhattisgarh) as on 1^st July 2023.

Educational qualification:

• Applicants should have passed their class 12^th or equivalent exam from a recognized board with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects.
• For admission into BE (Biotechnology), a pass in class 12^th with Physics, Mathematics/ Biology and Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject is required.
• A minimum of 45% marks in aggregate of these subjects along with individual pass is also mandatory.
• Those appearing in their class 12^th exam in the year 2023 can apply too.

Admit Card

• The CG PET 2023 admit card will be released online around a week before the entrance test.
• Candidates will be able to download their admit card from the official website using their registration id.
• Details of the exam center and timings will be communicated to the candidates through their admit card.
• The candidates must carry the admit card along with a valid photo identity proof while reporting for the exam or else they will not be allowed to appear for the test.
• No admit card will be sent to the candidates through courier or post.

Answer Key

• After the exam is over, the Vyapam will release the preliminary answer key on its official website.
• Candidates can submit their grievance regarding the answer key, if any, through post or via email on the id cgvyapam@gmail.com.
• Separate intimations should be sent for separate query in the answer key.
• The grievances of the candidates should be taken into account and final answer key will be released accordingly.

Result

• Result of the entrance test will be declared in online mode hopefully in the month of May 2023.
• Candidates will be able to check and print their result by visiting the official website of Vyapam cgvyapam.choice.gov.in.
• The candidates can also download their marks sheet after the declaration of result.
• No provision for re-evaluation or re-checking of answer sheet will be provided.

Counseling

• After the announcement of the result, a merit list of the candidates will be drawn on the basis of their marks in the test.
• As per their names in the merit list, the candidates will be invited to take part in the counseling process.
• At the time of counseling the documents of the candidates will be verified and they will be allowed to provide choice for course and institute.
• After successful certificate verification, seats will be allotted to the candidates as per the choices provided by them.
