Details of NMAT 2023 information on E akhabaar

NMAT, a national level management aptitude test, is conducted with the aim to select the candidates for admissions into MBA degree programme. Candidates who clear the test will be eligible for enrolment into different schools that accept NMAT scores. The NMAT qualified candidates may have to appear for written ability test, group discussion and personal interview conducted by the participating schools. NMAT 2023 registration process has been started from 3rd August 2023 and it will end by 10th November 2023.

Main Highlights

• A long test window (around 75 days) provides test takers with the convenience of choosing a test date.
• Candidates who wish to opt more than 5 schools for admission will have to pay an additional charge of Rs. 200/- per school.
• The entrance exam will consist of three main sections and times will be allotted to each section separately.
• Candidates taking test at international test centers are required to bring their confirmation email printout at the exam center.
• The candidates can take the NMAT exam up to a maximum of 3 times (first attempt plus 2 retake attempts) including no shows.
• Applicants must wait at least 15 days between two consecutive NMAT exams.

Application/ Registration Process

The candidates can register themselves online for NMAT 2023. For this, the candidates will have to visit the official website nmat.org.in. In addition to this, the candidates will also have to go to the website of each participating school and complete the registration process.

• During registration, the candidates will be asked to enter their basic details.
• A valid mobile number and email address will be required at the time of registration.
• After successful registration, the candidates will receive an email with unique registration number.
• A new window will appear prompting the candidates to complete the online application process.
• The candidates will however, have to get their email account verified by clicking on the authentication link sent on their email.
• The candidates can now fill their application form by providing their details, personal, educational, communication, etc.
• Candidates will also have to upload scanned copies of their photograph and signature in scanned format in the form.
• Preference for schools should be provided by the candidates at the time of application filling only.
• The duly filled application form can then be submitted with the required application fee.

Eligibility Criteria

• As such, no eligibility criteria have been defined for appearing in the NMAT exam by the authorities.
• However, the candidates should have completed their bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years from a recognized university.
• The candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria of the participating university and college individually by visiting their specific website.

Admit Card

• The admit card for NMAT 2023 will be released right after successful completion of the application process.
• Applicants will be able to download their admit card from the student’s dashboard using their registration details.
• Admit card along with a valid photo identity proof and another signature id proof must be carried by the candidates to the exam center.
• A photocopy of the identity proof will be submitted at the exam center.
• Candidates, in absence of any of these documents, will not be allowed to appear for the exam under any circumstances.
• The candidates should keep the admit card safe in case of exam retake or for admission process.

Result

• The result of the aptitude test will be declared online on the official website of NMAT.
• Candidates can check their result and download their score card from the official website.
• For this, the candidates will have to login into the dashboard using their username and password.
• On the basis of their score in the aptitude test, the candidates will be eligible for admissions into the different participating schools.
