Sido Kanhu Murmu University, formerly Siddhu Kanhu University, is a public university situated in the Santhal Parganas region of Jharkhand state in eastern India. It has its headquarters at Dumka, the second capital of Jharkhand. Candidates can apply online by visiting the official website. The Candidate should have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved category). Selection of candidates will be based on their performance in the respective Entrance Examinations.
Founded in 1992 by an act of Bihar Legislative Assembly, Sido Kanhu Murmu University is a public university situated in Dumka, Jharkhand. At present, SKMU offers B.A. (Hons.), B.Sc. (Hons.), B.A., B.Sc., BLIS, M.A., M.Sc., MCA, M.Com, MBA and Ph.D courses at UG, PG & Doctorate level. The University gives courses such as the MCA, M.Com, MBA, BA Hons., B.Sc Honors, MA., M.Sc., B.Sc., BLIS, BA, and Ph.D. courses. Candidates opting for the course admission of Ph.D. are eligible only if they clear the entrance exams that the University holds

Sido Kanhu Murmu University Admission Eligibility Criteria
B.A (Hons.)/BA/B.Sc. (Hons.)/ : (10+2) or any equivalent exam with 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST)
M.A/M.Sc./M.com/MBA/.: Graduation and a bachelor’s degree obtained through the 10+2+3 system or an equivalent qualification with a minimum of 50% or equivalent CGPA. Relaxation of 5% is there for SC/ST candidates.
Ph.D.: Post-Graduation in a relevant discipline or an equivalent qualification with a minimum aggregate of 60% or equivalent CGPA of any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India. A Relaxation of 5% aggregate is there for SC/ST candidates.
