Thapar University Eligibility Criteria 

B.Tech.  Candidates must have passed 10+2 intermediate orequivalent examination from any recognized board.

MCA: Applying candidates must have bachelor’s degree in required discipline to be eligible for admission.

BE:  The minimum eligibility required for admission to B.E. and B.Tech. program is a 10+2 qualification with at least 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ST candidates) in PCM.

M.E./M.Tech.:  To be eligible for admission, the candidates must secure at least 60% (55% for SC/ST/Industry sponsored)

MBA: Graduate Degree in any discipline with 50% in aggregate marks or CGPA or grade secured from recognized University/Institute. basis of the candidate’s performance in the CATMAT/XAT/NMAT/ CMAT/GMAT

MSC:  The minimum eligibility for applying under M.Sc. is the candidate must have passed Bachelor’s degree with an aggregate of min. 60% marks,

PHD: An M.E./M.Tech./M.Phil./MCA/M.Sc./M.A./MBA/C.A. or equivalent with minimum CGPA of 6.00 on a 10 point scale or 55% marks in aggregate where marks are awarded or GATE/NET (UGC/CSIR)

Thapar University Entrance Exam 2023

Thapar University entrance examination will be conducted by the authority through offline mode. The entrance examination will be conducted from the 3^rd week of August 2023. Only successfully registered candidates will be allowed to participate in the examination.
