VIT University conducts VIT engineering entrance examination for providing admission into B.Tech. programme. It is a common entrance test for VIT Vellore, VIT Chennai, VIT-AP and VIT- Bhopal. The exam structure is prepared to test your skill and depth in Physics, Chemistry, Maths/Biology, English & Aptitude. There are 125 questions in total that you need to solve in two and half hours. Selection would be based upon the ranks through offline counseling process at VIT campuses.

VITEEE Eligibility Criteria
Read the minimum eligibility requirements for VITEEE:
Nationality Criteria
- Candidates should be a Resident / Non Resident Indian National / PIO.
- Foreign category candidates who have studied or studying are required to submit a separate application form.
Minimum Qualification
Candidates should have passed 10+2 with 60% marks (50% for SC/ST Jammu and Kashmir/ Ladakh and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura.
Subjects
Candidates should have studied Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English in the qualifying exam.
How to Apply VITEEE?

Offline (OMR) Application Form
Candidates can obtain the application form from the official website by paying a cost of Rs.1250/- through following channels:
- From the designated post offices across the country.
- Paying in the form of demand draft of Rs.1250/- in favour of ‘Vellore Institute of Technology’, in person, from the following campuses:
- VIT, Vellore Campus
- VIT, Chennai Campus
- VIT-AP
- VIT-Bhopal (MP)
Online Application Form
- Candidates need to apply online by visiting the official website of VIT https://viteee.vit.ac.in. Payment of Rs.1150/- should be made by general candidates through debit card/credit card/net banking. Candidates opting testing centres in foreign country they need to pay USD 50 (excluding bank charges).
- One can also apply through VITEEE mobile application available at Google Play store.
Please do not send hard copy of your filled application form.
Exam Pattern
Go through some important highlights of VITEEE exam pattern:
- Only multiple choice questions are to be asked in the exam.
- Questions are to be asked: Maths or Biology (40 questions), Chemistry (35 questions), Physics (35 questions), Aptitude (10 questions) and English (5 questions).
- There will be no negative marking for the wrong attempt.
