Welly has known from the name of the University of Udaipur. This university is a public university situated in the city of Udaipur, which is in Rajasthan. The university consists not only of a single collage but around 60 affiliated colleges, which is in the district boundary of Udaipur, Chittorgarh, Rajsamand, and Sirohi.

The vision of the University is to provide knowledge and quality based education to the students by teaching moral values to them.

It’s mission is to impart value based education leading to holistic development and preparing enlightened citizens.

The university also has all the basic facilities along with central library and hostel facilities for the outstation students. Every hostel has it’s own warden who are suppose to look after the discipline of the entire hostel department. The wardens takes care of the security and everything else at the hostel.

The University offers education in different faculties i.e. Faculty of Science, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Earth Science, Faculty of Commerce, Faculty of Management, Faculty of Humanities, Faculty of Education and Faculty of Social Science. Under these faculties, there are various departments that are specialized in specific areas such as Bio-Technology, Botany, Geology, Law, Geography, Accountancy, Music, Visual Arts and many more.
