Opened on 10th November 2010, the JSCA International Cricket Stadium acts as the Jharkhand State Cricket Association for hosting International Matches in Jharkhand. At the same time, it is as well the home ground of the Indian Premier League team Kolkata Knight Riders and the Jharkhand cricket team. With the Jagannath Temple, the HEC plant and the Hatia dam located in the surrounding area, the stadium is backed with a beautiful view. The play ground is as well popular as the JSCA International Stadium Complex and was conceived after the dispute between JSCA and the Tata Steel. It was constructed to support 39,133 seating capacity. The match between India and England played on 19th January 2013 was the first international match hosted by it.
