Steele left KEPR TV in July 2010. He got into KMTR-TV based in Oregon and served as a speciality reporter and meteorologist for two years.

Jordan has experience in making accurate weather forecasts for Austin and nearby cities in Texas for KEYE-TV. He provided live updates and worked around the clock shifts during extreme weather conditions.
