Mangalmooyee Santoshi Maa is an Indian television mythological serial which is a Bengali dubbed version of Santoshi Maa shown on Zee Bangla channel. Telecast on 30th November 2015 on &TV and ran till 20 October 2017. The serial is produced and directed by Rashmi Sharma.
Mangalmoyee Santoshi Maa story of the serial: The story of Santoshi Maa is typically based on mythology and drama genre. The story runs on three different tracks.
The first story is all about the girl named Santoshi, who is a devotee follower of Goddess Santoshi Maa she believes that the goddess is the ultimate cure for all the sorrows and miseries in her life. Named Santoshi has been given by her mother and father during her childhood as her parents were biggest devotees of Santoshi Maa. They explain their daughter about all the power of their goddess, Maa Santoshi is known for love, forgiveness, happiness and hope.
The second story based on Devloka where all the gods and goddesses of the Universe reside. Goddess Santoshi along with her alliance Gau Mata try their best to help all her devotees. However, their attempts are often been interrupted by Goddess Poulomi who is known to be the goddess of jealousy, greed, and deception.
The third story involves devotee Santoshi’s relatives with whom she resides, they are extremely greedy and selfish by nature. They always dream to become rich and can go to any extent to raise money and live a luxurious lifestyle. Unfortunately Santoshi’s parents died because of evil goddess Poulomi. From there Santoshi’s faces too many problems from her relatives and evil goddess Poulomi, everytime she remembers (prays) to goddess Santoshi Maa and she gets protected from all the troubles. Later when she grew up, she gets married to a rich and humble man.
Mangalmoyee Santoshi Maa serial cast : Bollywood actress Gracy Singh played role of Santoshi Maa, Ratan Rajput as Santoshi Dhairya Mishra, Ayaz Ahmed as Dhairya Raghavendra Mishra, Sayantani Ghosh as Poulomi Maa, Debina Bonnerjee as Trishna, Kashvi Kothari as child Santoshi.
