Who are Urologist and Andrologist?

Urologists, or doctors of urology, are trained for treating diseases and disorders related to the urinary tract and adrenal gland in men and women. In women, the specialized urologists treat conditions related to ureter, kidneys, bladder and urethra. In men, they treat problems related to the prostate gland and the male reproductive system.

Andrologists are the urologists who concentrate specifically on treating conditions that affect male sexuality and male fertility, instead of practising the wider form of urology. Andrology speciality involves the treatment of conditions affecting made genitalia like undescended testes and diseases or injuries that may affect their sexual function or fertility.
