Directed by Sunil Agnihotri, Paranormal show “Black” was aired on Monday to Thursday at 10Pm on 9X TV from 2 March 2009. The serial was a story of evil power which exists around us. Two special officers Ranvir and Aliya chase the demon when they found that evil power is likely to kill many people. This show was produced by Sunil Agnihotri.
The investigation started off with the story of a 12-year old boy who had a mystery death. The boy’s death serves as a common link to the investigation. It is shown that the demon can possess anyone, be it a priest, mad man or even a mother. With the help of a journalist, they try to reach the beast. The two investigative officers try to reach the demon and kill him. But the question remains that can the two officers succeed in their efforts killing the demon? Is it a myth or an experience?
The show was aired from every Monday to Thursday. Do the two officers overpower the black or darkness from our life? The show was conceived and directed by Sunil Agnihotri. I. Giridharan handled photography. Aslam Surti composed music, and Tanya Pathak handled the screenplay. Sanjeev Soni wrote the dialogues.
The executive producers of the serial were Anand Saxena and Shiva Rindani. The show was extensively shot in Shimla, Diu, and Mahabaleshwar (Pune). It had other TV stars such as Mamik Singh, Aaliya Shah, Krutika Desai Khan, Natasha Sinha, Vinod Kapoor, Master Yash Gilani, and Vindu Dara Singh who had played various characters in the serial.
